In order to maintain a smooth
transition between the PHS 398 and the electronic SF 424 (R&R)
using Grants.gov, the Office of Research Services will conduct
informational seminars to instruct faculty and research staff
on how to successfully navigate the major changes that NIH has
made to their grant application process.
It is important to note that
these are MAJOR changes and will effect anyone who
submits proposals to the NIH. It is imperative that PIs
understand not only the new forms but the entire electronic
process that will now be required for NIH submissions.
ORS is currently developing
training sessions for Grants.gov that will begin in March.
